Esther Plans to Intercede

¹⁵ Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai, ¹⁶ “Go, assemble all the Jews who are found in Susa, and fast for me; ^(A)do not eat or drink for ^(B)three days, night or day. I and my maidens also will fast in the same way. And thus I will go in to the king, which is not according to the law; and if I perish, I perish.”

⁴ Perhaps the Lord your God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom his master the king of Assyria has sent to ^(A)reproach the living God, and will rebuke the words which the Lord your God has heard. Therefore, offer a prayer for ^(B)the remnant that is left.’”

³ ‘^(A)Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you ^(B)great and mighty things, ^(C)which you do not know.’

³⁷ ‘Thus says the Lord God, “This also I will let the house of Israel ask Me to do for them: I will increase their men like a flock.
