Esther 1:2-4

2 in those days as King Ahasuerus (A)sat on his royal throne which was at the citadel in (B)Susa, 3 in the third year of his reign (C)he held a banquet for all his officials and attendants, the army officers of Persia and Media, the nobles and the officials of his provinces, in his presence. 4 [a]At that time he displayed the riches of his royal glory and the splendor of his great majesty for many days, 180 days.

2 At that time King Xerxes reigned from his royal throne in the citadel of Susa,(A) 3 and in the third year of his reign he gave a banquet(B) for all his nobles and officials. The military leaders of Persia and Media, the princes, and the nobles of the provinces were present.
4 For a full 180 days he displayed the vast wealth of his kingdom and the splendor and glory of his majesty.
