Esther 1:2-4

2 King Xerxes was ruling on his royal throne in Susa, the citadel.[a]
3 In the third year of his reign[b] he gave a banquet[c] for all his officials and administrators, for the leaders of the army of Persia and Media, and for the nobles and officials of the provinces. 4 He displayed the glory and splendor of the riches of his kingdom, the grandeur of his majesty, for many days (one hundred eighty days in all).

New International Version
2 At that time King Xerxes reigned from his royal throne in the citadel of Susa,(A) 3 and in the third year of his reign he gave a banquet(B) for all his nobles and officials. The military leaders of Persia and Media, the princes, and the nobles of the provinces were present.
4 For a full 180 days he displayed the vast wealth of his kingdom and the splendor and glory of his majesty.
