⁹ Let the robes and the horse be handed over to one of the king’s most noble officials; let him^[a] robe the man whom the king wishes to honor, and let him^[b] conduct the man on horseback through the open square of the city, proclaiming before him: ‘Thus shall it be done for the man whom the king wishes to honor.’ ”^(A)

⁴³ He had him ride in the chariot of his second-in-command, and they cried out in front of him, “Bow the knee!”^[a] Thus he set him over all the land of Egypt.^(A)
