¹⁵ “Woe to him who gives drink^(A) to his neighbors,
    pouring it from the wineskin till they are drunk,
    so that he can gaze on their naked bodies!
¹⁶ You will be filled with shame^(B) instead of glory.^(C)
    Now it is your turn! Drink^(D) and let your nakedness be exposed^[a]!^(E)
The cup^(F) from the Lord’s right hand is coming around to you,
    and disgrace will cover your glory.

⁷ Babylon was a gold cup^(A) in the Lord’s hand;
    she made the whole earth drunk.
The nations drank her wine;
    therefore they have now gone mad.
