Ephesians 5:14-16

¹⁴Therefore he says, “Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

¹⁵Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise, ¹⁶redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

¹⁴Therefore He says:

^(A)“Awake, you who sleep,
Arise from the dead,
And Christ will give you light.”

¹⁵^(B)See then that you walk ^[a]circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, ¹⁶^(C)redeeming the time, ^(D)because the days are evil.

¹⁴for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says,

^(A)“Awake, O sleeper,
and ^(B)arise from the dead,
and ^(C)Christ will shine on you.”

¹⁵^(D)Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, ¹⁶^(E)making the best use of the time, because ^(F)the days are evil.
