Ephesians 4:20-24

20 But that is not the way you (A)learned Christ!— 21 assuming that (B)you have heard about him and (C)were taught in him, as the truth is in Jesus, 22 to (D)put off (E)your old self,[a] which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through (F)deceitful desires, 23 and (G)to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, 24 and to put on (H)the new self, (I)created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.

International Standard Version
20 However, that is not the way you came to know the Messiah.[a] 21 Surely you have listened to him and have been taught by him, since truth is in Jesus. 22 Regarding your former way of life, you were taught[b] to strip off your old nature, which is being ruined by its deceptive desires, 23 to be renewed in your mental attitude, 24 and to clothe yourselves with the new nature, which was created according to God’s image[c] in righteousness and true holiness.
