⁶　神只有一位，就是萬有的父。他超越萬有，貫徹萬有，並且在萬有之中。

⁷我們各人蒙恩，是照著基督量給我們的恩賜。 ⁸所以他說：

“他升上高天的時候，

擄了許多俘虜，

把賞賜給了人。”

⁶one God and Father of all,^(A) who is over all and through all and in all.^(B)

⁷But to each one of us^(C) grace^(D) has been given^(E) as Christ apportioned it. ⁸This is why it^[a] says:

“When he ascended on high,
he took many captives^(F)
and gave gifts to his people.”^[b]^(G)
