To me, (A)the very least of all [a]saints, this grace was given, to (B)proclaim to the Gentiles the good news of the unfathomable (C)riches of Christ, and to bring to light for all what is the administration of the (D)mystery which for ages has been (E)hidden in God (F)who created all things; 10 so that the manifold (G)wisdom of God might now be (H)made known through the church to the (I)rulers and the authorities in (J)the heavenly places. 11 This was in (K)accordance with the [b]eternal purpose which He [c]carried out in (L)Christ Jesus our Lord, 12 in whom we have boldness and [d](M)confident (N)access through faith [e]in Him. 13 Therefore I ask [f]you not (O)to lose heart at my afflictions (P)on your behalf, which are your glory.

To me—even though I am the very least of all the saints—was given this grace: to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ and to enlighten everyone about the administration of this mystery. In past ages this mystery remained hidden in God, who created all things. 10 He did this so that, through the church, the multifaceted wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. 11 This was done according to the eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. 12 In him we can freely approach God with confidence through faith in him. 13 So I ask you not to lose heart because of what I am suffering for you, because it is your glory.
