11 Therefore, remember that (A)formerly (B)you—the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called “(C)Uncircumcision” by the so-called “(D)Circumcision,” which is performed in the flesh by human hands— 12 remember that you were at that time without Christ, (E)alienated from the citizenship of Israel, and strangers to (F)the covenants of promise, having (G)no hope and (H)without God in the world. 13 But now in (I)Christ Jesus you who (J)formerly were (K)far off [a]have (L)been brought near (M)by the blood of Christ. 14 For He Himself is (N)our peace, (O)who made both groups one and broke down the dividing wall of the partition 15 [b]by (P)abolishing in His flesh the enmity, (Q)the Law of commandments contained in ordinances, so that in Himself He might (R)create the two into (S)one new man, making (T)peace, 16 and might (U)reconcile them both in (V)one body to God through the cross, having in Himself (W)put to death the enmity. 17 And (X)He came and preached (Y)the good news of peace to you who were (Z)far away, and peace to those who were (AA)near; 18 for through Him we both have (AB)our access in (AC)one Spirit to (AD)the Father.

In his flesh, 15 he made of no effect the law consisting of commands and expressed in regulations, so that he might create(G) in himself one(H) new man from the two, resulting in peace. 16 He did this so that he might reconcile both to God in one body(I) through the cross by which he put the hostility to death.[a] 17 He came and proclaimed the good news(J) of peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.(K) 18 For through him we both have access(L) in one Spirit to the Father.(M)
