Ephesians 2:8-16

⁸ For ^(A)by grace you have been saved ^(B)through faith. And this is ^(C)not your own doing; ^(D)it is the gift of God, ^9 (E)not a result of works, ^(F)so that no one may boast. ¹⁰ For ^(G)we are his workmanship, ^(H)created in Christ Jesus ^(I)for good works, ^(J)which God prepared beforehand, ^(K)that we should walk in them.

One in Christ

¹¹ Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called “the uncircumcision” by what is called ^(L)the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands— ¹² remember ^(M)that you were at that time separated from Christ, ^(N)alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to ^(O)the covenants of promise, ^(P)having no hope and without God in the world. ¹³ But now in Christ Jesus you who once were ^(Q)far off have been brought near ^(R)by the blood of Christ. ¹⁴ For ^(S)he himself is our peace, ^(T)who has made us both one and has broken down ^(U)in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility ¹⁵ by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ^(V)ordinances, that he might create in himself one ^(W)new man in place of the two, so making peace, ¹⁶ and might ^(X)reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility.
