Among them [a]we too all (A)previously lived in (B)the lusts of our flesh, [b]indulging the desires of the flesh and of the [c]mind, and were (C)by nature (D)children of wrath, (E)just as the rest. But God, being (F)rich in mercy, because of (G)His great love with which He loved us, even when we were (H)dead [d]in our wrongdoings, made us alive together [e]with Christ ((I)by grace you have been saved), and (J)raised us up with Him, and (K)seated us with Him in (L)the heavenly places in (M)Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the [f]boundless (N)riches of His grace in (O)kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For (P)by grace you have been saved (Q)through faith; and [g]this is not of yourselves, it is (R)the gift of God; (S)not a result of works, so that (T)no one may boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, (U)created in (V)Christ Jesus for (W)good works, which God (X)prepared beforehand so that we would (Y)walk in them.

11 Therefore remember that (Z)previously (AA)you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called “(AB)Uncircumcision” by the so-called “(AC)Circumcision” which is performed in the flesh by human hands— 12 remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, [h](AD)excluded from [i]the people of Israel, and strangers to (AE)the covenants of the promise, having (AF)no hope and (AG)without God in the world. 13 But now in (AH)Christ Jesus you who (AI)previously were (AJ)far away [j]have (AK)been brought near [k](AL)by the blood of Christ.
