¹² remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, ^[a](A)excluded from ^[b]the people of Israel, and strangers to ^(B)the covenants of the promise, having ^(C)no hope and ^(D)without God in the world. ¹³ But now in ^(E)Christ Jesus you who ^(F)previously were ^(G)far away ^[c]have ^(H)been brought near ^[d](I)by the blood of Christ.

⁷ Therefore, recognize that ^(A)it is those who are of faith who are ^(B)sons of Abraham. ⁸ The Scripture, foreseeing that God ^[a]would justify the ^[b]Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “^(C)All the nations will be blessed in you.”
