¹⁰ For ^(A)we are his workmanship, ^(B)created in Christ Jesus ^(C)for good works, ^(D)which God prepared beforehand, ^(E)that we should walk in them.

¹⁷ And ^(A)whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, ^(B)giving thanks to God the Father through him.

²⁴ knowing that from the Lord ^(A)you will receive the inheritance as your reward. ^(B)You are serving the Lord Christ.

⁹ For you remember, brothers, ^(A)our labor and toil: we ^(B)worked night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you, while we proclaimed to you the gospel of God. ¹⁰ You are witnesses, and ^(C)God also, ^(D)how holy and righteous and blameless was our conduct toward you believers. ¹¹ For you know how, ^(E)like a father with his children, ¹² we exhorted each one of you and encouraged you and ^(F)charged ^(G)you to walk in a manner worthy of God, ^(H)who calls you into his own kingdom and glory.
