(A)Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in (B)the heavenly places in Christ, just as (C)He chose us in Him before (D)the foundation of the world, that we would be (E)holy and blameless before [a]Him (F)in love, by (G)predestining us to (H)adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, (I)according to the good pleasure of His will, (J)to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He graciously bestowed on us in (K)the Beloved. (L)In [b]Him we have (M)redemption (N)through His blood, the (O)forgiveness of our transgressions, according to (P)the riches of His grace which He caused to abound to us in all wisdom and insight, (Q)making known to us the mystery of His will, (R)according to His good pleasure which He (S)purposed in Him 10 for an administration of (T)the fullness of the times, that is, (U)the summing up of all things in Christ, things [c]in the heavens and things on the earth in Him.

The Many Blessings of Salvation

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah![a] He has blessed us in the Messiah[b] with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm, just as he chose us in the Messiah[c] before the creation of the universe[d] to be holy and blameless in his presence. In love he predestined us for adoption to himself through Jesus the Messiah,[e] according to the pleasure of his will, so that we would praise[f] his glorious grace that he gave us in the Beloved One. In union with him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our offenses, according to the riches of God’s[g] grace that he lavished on us, along with all wisdom and understanding, when he made known to us the secret of his will. This was according to his plan that he set forth in the Messiah[h] 10 to usher in[i] the fullness of the times and to bring together in the Messiah[j] all things in heaven and on earth.
