²⁰ This power He exercised in Messiah when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in heaven. ^{[a] 21} He is far above any ruler, authority, power, leader, and every name that is named—not only in the olam ha-zeh but also in the olam ha-ba. ²² God placed all things under Messiah’s feet^[b] and appointed Him as head over all things for His community— ²³ which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Ben-Elohim Is Supreme

God’s Manifested Word of Life

1 What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the Word of life— ² the life was revealed, and we have seen and testify and declare to you the eternal life that was with the Father and was revealed to us. ³ What we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so you may have fellowship with us. Indeed, our fellowship is with the Father and His Son, Yeshua the Messiah.

The Word Becomes Flesh

1 In the beginning was the Word.^[a] The Word was with God, and the Word was God. ² He was with God in the beginning. ³ All things were made through Him, and apart from Him nothing was made that has come into being. ⁴ In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. ⁵ The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overpowered it.

⁹ The true light, coming into the world, gives light to every man.

¹⁰ He was in the world, and the world was made through Him; but the world did not know Him.

¹⁶ Out of His fullness, we have all received grace on top of grace.
