¹⁷ that ^(A)the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, ^(B)may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, ^18 (C)the eyes of your ^[a]understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is ^(D)the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, ¹⁹ and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, ^(E)according to the working of His mighty power

⁹ And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, ¹⁰ that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, ¹¹ being filled with the fruits of righteousness ^(A)which are by Jesus Christ, ^(B)to the glory and praise of God.
