¹⁷ that the ^(A)God of our Lord Jesus Christ, ^(B)the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of ^(C)wisdom and of ^(D)revelation in the ^[a]knowledge of Him. ¹⁸ I pray that ^(E)the eyes of your heart ^[b]may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the ^(F)hope of His ^(G)calling, what are ^(H)the riches of the glory of ^(I)His inheritance in ^(J)the ^[c]saints, ¹⁹ and what is the ^[d]boundless greatness of His power toward us who believe. ^(K)These are in accordance with the working of the ^(L)strength of His might

^18 [a]With every ^(A)prayer and request, ^[b](B)pray at all times ^(C)in the Spirit, and with this in view, ^[c](D)be alert with all ^(E)perseverance and every ^(F)request for all the ^[d]saints,

³ ‘^(A)Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you ^(B)great and ^[a]mighty things, ^(C)which you do not know.’

¹³ Is anyone among you ^(A)suffering? ^(B)Then he must pray. Is anyone cheerful? He is to ^(C)sing praises.

^6 (A)Do not ^[a]be anxious about anything, but in everything by ^(B)prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. ⁷ And ^(C)the peace of God, which surpasses all ^[b]comprehension, will ^(D)guard your hearts and ^(E)minds in ^(F)Christ Jesus.

^2 (A)Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving; ³ praying at the same time ^(B)for us as well, that God will open up to us a ^(C)door for ^(D)the word, so that we may proclaim ^(E)the mystery of Christ, for which I have also ^(F)been imprisoned;
