¹³ In ^[a]Him, ^[b]you also, after listening to ^(A)the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also ^[c]believed, you were ^(B)sealed in ^[d]Him with ^(C)the Holy Spirit of the promise, ¹⁴ who is a ^(D)first installment of ^(E)our inheritance, in regard to the ^(F)redemption of ^(G)God’s own possession, ^(H)to the praise of His glory.

⁴ But God, being ^(A)rich in mercy, because of ^(B)His great love with which He loved us, ⁵ even when we were ^(C)dead ^[a]in our wrongdoings, made us alive together ^[b]with Christ (^(D)by grace you have been saved), ⁶ and ^(E)raised us up with Him, and ^(F)seated us with Him in ^(G)the heavenly places in ^(H)Christ Jesus, ⁷ so that in the ages to come He might show the ^[c]boundless ^(I)riches of His grace in ^(J)kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. ⁸ For ^(K)by grace you have been saved ^(L)through faith; and ^[d]this is not of yourselves, it is ^(M)the gift of God; ^9 (N)not a result of works, so that ^(O)no one may boast. ¹⁰ For we are His workmanship, ^(P)created in ^(Q)Christ Jesus for ^(R)good works, which God ^(S)prepared beforehand so that we would ^(T)walk in them.
