15 (A)and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking (B)the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And (C)take the helmet of salvation, and (D)the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 (E)praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, (F)being watchful to this end with all perseverance and (G)supplication for all the saints— 19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, (H)that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which (I)I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.(A) 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith,(B) with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.(C) 17 Take the helmet of salvation(D) and the sword of the Spirit,(E) which is the word of God.(F)

18 And pray in the Spirit(G) on all occasions(H) with all kinds of prayers and requests.(I) With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying(J) for all the Lord’s people. 19 Pray also for me,(K) that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly(L) make known the mystery(M) of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador(N) in chains.(O) Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.
