Ephesians 6:13-15
Contemporary English Version
13 So put on all the armor that God gives. Then when that evil day[a] comes, you will be able to defend yourself. And when the battle is over, you will still be standing firm.
14 (A)(B) Be ready! Let the truth be like a belt around your waist, and let God's justice protect you like armor. 15 (C) Your desire to tell the good news about peace should be like shoes on your feet.

13 Therefore put on the full armor of God,(A) so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist,(B) with the breastplate of righteousness in place,(C) 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.(D)
