²⁸ So husbands ought also to ^(A)love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself;

³³ Nevertheless, each individual among you also is to ^(A)love his own wife even as himself, and the wife must see to it that she ^[a](B)respects her husband.

^19 (A)Husbands, love your wives and do not be embittered against them.

^7 (A)You husbands in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with a weaker ^(B)vessel, since she is a woman; and show her honor as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered.
