²³For ^(A)the husband is head of the wife, as also ^(B)Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.

²³For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church,^(A) his body, of which he is the Savior.

²⁴Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands ^(A)in everything.

²⁴Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands^(A) in everything.
