Ephesians 5:10-17
New King James Version
10 (A)finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. 11 And have (B)no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather [a]expose them. 12 (C)For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. 13 But (D)all things that are [b]exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. 14 Therefore He says:
(E)“Awake, you who sleep,
Arise from the dead,
And Christ will give you light.”
Walk in Wisdom
15 (F)See then that you walk [c]circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16 (G)redeeming the time, (H)because the days are evil.
17 (I)Therefore do not be unwise, but (J)understand (K)what the will of the Lord is.

Ephesians 5:10-17
Living Bible
10 Learn as you go along what pleases the Lord.[a] 11 Take no part in the worthless pleasures of evil and darkness, but instead, rebuke and expose them. 12 It would be shameful even to mention here those pleasures of darkness that the ungodly do. 13 But when you expose them, the light shines in upon their sin and shows it up, and when they see how wrong they really are, some of them may even become children of light! 14 That is why God says in the Scriptures, “Awake, O sleeper, and rise up from the dead; and Christ shall give you light.”
15-16 So be careful how you act; these are difficult days. Don’t be fools; be wise: make the most of every opportunity you have for doing good. 17 Don’t act thoughtlessly, but try to find out and do whatever the Lord wants you to.

Ephesians 5:10-17
King James Version
10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

New International Version
10 and find out what pleases the Lord.(A) 11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness,(B) but rather expose them. 12 It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. 13 But everything exposed by the light(C) becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. 14 This is why it is said:
15 Be very careful, then, how you live(G)—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity,(H) because the days are evil.(I) 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.(J)
