¹⁶ that according to ^(A)the riches of his glory ^(B)he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit ^(C)in your inner being,

²⁹ For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church, ³⁰ because ^(A)we are members of his body.

³² This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church.

¹⁵ Do you not know that ^(A)your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never!

¹⁷ But he who is joined to the Lord ^(A)becomes one spirit with him.

¹⁹ Or ^(A)do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? ^(B)You are not your own,

^24 (A)Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God,^[a] and God^[b] in him. And ^(B)by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.

^13 (A)By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
