Ephesians 1:19-23

¹⁹I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power ²⁰that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. ²¹Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come. ²²God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church. ²³And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself.

¹⁹and [so that you will begin to know] what the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His [active, spiritual] power is in us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of His mighty strength ²⁰which He ^[a]produced in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, ²¹far above all rule and authority and power and dominion [whether angelic or human], and [far above] every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and world but also in the one to come. ²²And He ^[b]put all things [in every realm] in subjection under Christ’s feet, and ^[c]appointed Him as [supreme and authoritative] head over all things in the church,^(A) ²³which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills and completes all things in all [believers].
