17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father,(A) may give you the Spirit[a] of wisdom(B) and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened(C) in order that you may know the hope to which he has called(D) you, the riches(E) of his glorious inheritance(F) in his holy people,(G) 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. 19 I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power 20 that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.
