¹⁶ I have not stopped giving thanks for you,^(A) remembering you in my prayers.^{(B) 17} I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father,^(C) may give you the Spirit^[a] of wisdom^(D) and revelation, so that you may know him better. ¹⁸ I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened^(E) in order that you may know the hope to which he has called^(F) you, the riches^(G) of his glorious inheritance^(H) in his holy people,^{(I) 19} and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power^(J) is the same as the mighty strength^{(K) 20} he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead^(L) and seated him at his right hand^(M) in the heavenly realms,^{(N) 21} far above all rule and authority, power and dominion,^(O) and every name^(P) that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.^(Q)
