¹⁵ For this reason I too, ^(A)having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and ^[a]your love for ^(B)all the ^[b]saints, ^16 (C)do not cease giving thanks for you, ^(D)while making mention of you in my prayers: ¹⁷ that the ^(E)God of our Lord Jesus Christ, ^(F)the Father of glory, may give to you the ^[c]Spirit of ^(G)wisdom and of ^(H)revelation in the ^[d]full knowledge of Him, ¹⁸ so that you—^(I)the eyes of your heart having been enlightened—will know what is the ^(J)hope of His ^(K)calling, what are ^(L)the riches of the glory of ^(M)His inheritance in ^(N)the ^[e]saints, ¹⁹ and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe ^(O)according to the working of the ^(P)might of His strength, ²⁰ which He worked in Christ, by ^(Q)raising Him from the dead and ^(R)seating Him at His right hand in ^(S)the heavenly places, ²¹ far above ^(T)all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every ^(U)name that is named, not only in ^(V)this age but also in the one to come. ²² And ^(W)He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as ^(X)head over all things to the church, ²³ which is His ^(Y)body, the ^(Z)fullness of Him who ^(AA)fills ^(AB)all in all.

By Grace Through Faith

2 And you ^[f]were ^(AC)dead ^[g]in your transgressions and sins, ² in which you ^(AD)formerly walked according to the ^[h]course of ^(AE)this world, according to ^(AF)the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit that is now working in ^(AG)the sons of disobedience, ³ among whom we all also ^(AH)formerly conducted ourselves in ^(AI)the lusts of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the ^[i]mind, and were ^(AJ)by nature ^(AK)children of wrath, ^(AL)even as the rest. ⁴ But God, being ^(AM)rich in mercy because of ^(AN)His great love with which He loved us, ⁵ even when we were ^(AO)dead ^[j]in our transgressions, made us alive together ^[k]with Christ—^(AP)by grace you have been saved— ⁶ and ^(AQ)raised us up with Him, and ^(AR)seated us with Him in ^(AS)the heavenly places in ^(AT)Christ Jesus, ⁷ so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing ^(AU)riches of His grace in ^(AV)kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. ⁸ For ^(AW)by grace you have been saved ^(AX)through faith, and ^[l]this not of yourselves, it is ^(AY)the gift of God; ^9 (AZ)not of works, so that ^(BA)no one may boast. ¹⁰ For we are His workmanship, ^(BB)created in ^(BC)Christ Jesus for ^(BD)good works, which God ^(BE)prepared beforehand so that we would ^(BF)walk in them.
