^5 (A)Walk in wisdom toward ^(B)outsiders, making the best use of the time.

³⁵ So Jesus said to them, ^(A)“The light is among you ^(B)for a little while longer. ^(C)Walk while you have the light, lest darkness ^(D)overtake you. ^(E)The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going.

¹³ Therefore ^(A)take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in ^(B)the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.

¹⁰ So then, ^(A)as we have opportunity, let us ^(B)do good to everyone, and especially to those who are ^(C)of the household of faith.

Remember Your Creator in Your Youth

12 Remember also your Creator in ^(A)the days of your youth, before ^(B)the evil days come and the years draw near of which ^(C)you will say, “I have no pleasure in them”;

¹¹ Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you ^(A)to wake from sleep. ^(B)For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.

¹⁰ Whatever your hand finds to do, ^(A)do it with your might,^{[a] (B)}for there is no work or thought or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol, to which you are going.
