⁷ But ^(A)to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift.

Serve God with Spiritual Gifts

³ For I say, ^(A)through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, ^(B)not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt ^(C)to each one a measure of faith.

^10 (A)As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, ^(B)as good stewards of ^(C)the manifold grace of God.

⁷ But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: ⁸ for to one is given ^(A)the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another ^(B)the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, ^9 (C)to another faith by the same Spirit, to another ^(D)gifts of healings by ^[a]the same Spirit, ^10 (E)to another the working of miracles, to another ^(F)prophecy, to another ^(G)discerning of spirits, to another ^(H)different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. ¹¹ But one and the same Spirit works all these things, ^(I)distributing to each one individually ^(J)as He wills.

² if indeed you have heard of the ^[a]dispensation of the grace of God ^(A)which was given to me for you,

⁸ Therefore He says:

^9 (B)(Now this, “He ascended”—what does it mean but that He also ^[a]first descended into the lower parts of the earth? ¹⁰ He who descended is also the One ^(C)who ascended far above all the heavens, ^(D)that He might fill all things.)

¹¹ And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, ¹² for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, ^(E)for the ^[b]edifying of ^(F)the body of Christ, ¹³ till we all come to the unity of the faith ^(G)and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to ^(H)a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; ¹⁴ that we should no longer be ^(I)children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of ^(J)deceitful plotting,

Purpose of the Mystery

⁸ To me, ^(A)who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles ^(B)the unsearchable riches of Christ,

²⁸ And ^(A)God has appointed these in the church: first ^(B)apostles, second ^(C)prophets, third teachers, after that ^(D)miracles, then ^(E)gifts of healings, ^(F)helps, ^(G)administrations, varieties of tongues. ²⁹ Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? ³⁰ Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?

⁶ Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is ^(A)given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us ^(B)prophesy in proportion to our faith; ⁷ or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; ^(C)he who teaches, in teaching; ^8 (D)he who exhorts, in exhortation; ^(E)he who gives, with liberality; ^(F)he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, ^(G)with cheerfulness.
