⁷ But ^(A)grace was given ^(B)to each one of us ^(C)according to the measure of Christ's gift.

Gifts of Grace

³ For ^(A)by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you ^(B)not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, ^(C)each according to ^(D)the measure of faith that God has assigned.

^10 (A)As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, ^(B)as good stewards of God's varied grace:

^7 (A)To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. ⁸ For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of ^(B)wisdom, and to another the utterance of ^(C)knowledge according to the same Spirit, ⁹ to another ^(D)faith by the same Spirit, to another ^(E)gifts of healing by the one Spirit, ¹⁰ to another ^(F)the working of miracles, to another ^(G)prophecy, to another ^(H)the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another ^(I)various kinds of tongues, to another ^(J)the interpretation of tongues. ¹¹ All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, ^(K)who apportions to each one individually ^(L)as he wills.

² assuming that you have heard of ^(A)the stewardship of ^(B)God's grace that was given to me for you,

⁸ Therefore it says,

⁹ (^(C)In saying, “He ascended,” what does it mean but that he had also descended into ^(D)the lower regions, the earth?^{[b] 10} He who descended is the one who also ^(E)ascended ^(F)far above all the heavens, that he might ^(G)fill all things.) ¹¹ And ^(H)he gave the ^(I)apostles, the prophets, the ^(J)evangelists, the ^(K)shepherds^[c] and teachers,^{[d] 12 (L)}to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for ^(M)building up ^(N)the body of Christ, ¹³ until we all attain to ^(O)the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, ^(P)to mature manhood,^[e] to the measure of the stature of ^(Q)the fullness of Christ, ¹⁴ so that we may no longer be children, ^(R)tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in ^(S)deceitful schemes.

⁸ To me, ^(A)though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, ^(B)to preach to the Gentiles the ^(C)unsearchable ^(D)riches of Christ,

²⁸ And ^(A)God has appointed in the church first ^(B)apostles, second ^(C)prophets, third teachers, then ^(D)miracles, then ^(E)gifts of healing, ^(F)helping, ^(G)administrating, and ^(H)various kinds of tongues. ²⁹ Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? ³⁰ Do all possess gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?

^6 (A)Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if ^(B)prophecy, ^(C)in proportion to our faith; ⁷ if ^(D)service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; ⁸ the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; ^(E)the one who leads,^[a] with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with ^(F)cheerfulness.
