²⁴ and that you ^(A)put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

¹⁰ and have put on the new man who ^(A)is renewed in knowledge ^(B)according to the image of Him who ^(C)created him, ¹¹ where there is neither ^(D)Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, ^(E)but Christ is all and in all.

Character of the New Man

¹² Therefore, ^(F)as the elect of God, holy and beloved, ^(G)put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; ^13 (H)bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. ^14 (I)But above all these things ^(J)put on love, which is the ^(K)bond of perfection.

¹⁷ Therefore, if anyone ^(A)is in Christ, he is ^(B)a new creation; ^(C)old things have passed away; behold, all things have become ^(D)new.

¹⁰ For we are ^(A)His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

^11 (A)Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the ^[a]wiles of the devil.

¹⁴ But ^(A)put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and ^(B)make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.

⁴ Therefore we were ^(A)buried with Him through baptism into death, that ^(B)just as Christ was raised from the dead by ^(C)the glory of the Father, ^(D)even so we also should walk in newness of life.

¹⁸ But we all, with unveiled face, beholding ^(A)as in a mirror ^(B)the glory of the Lord, ^(C)are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as ^[a]by the Spirit of the Lord.

¹² The night is far spent, the day is at hand. ^(A)Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and ^(B)let us put on the armor of light.
