^19 (A)who, being past feeling, ^(B)have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

^2 (A)speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience ^(B)seared with a hot iron,

^5 (A)Therefore put to death ^(B)your members which are on the earth: ^(C)fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, ^(D)which is idolatry.

^24 (A)Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, ^(B)to dishonor their bodies ^(C)among themselves, ²⁵ who exchanged ^(D)the truth of God ^(E)for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

²⁶ For this reason God gave them up to ^(F)vile passions. For even their ^[a]women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.

³ For all the nations ^(A)have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, ^(B)and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the ^[a]abundance of her luxury.”

²² But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: ^(A)“A dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.”

¹¹ Woe to them! For they have gone in the way ^(A)of Cain, ^(B)have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished ^(C)in the rebellion of Korah.

Depravity of False Teachers

¹² But these, ^(A)like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption, ^13 (B)and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure ^(C)to ^[a]carouse in the daytime. ^(D)They are spots and blemishes, ^[b]carousing in their own deceptions while ^(E)they feast with you, ¹⁴ having eyes full of ^[c]adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls. ^(F)They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children.

³ For we have spent enough of our past ^[a]lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles—when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries.
