²² In him ^(A)you also are being built together ^(B)into a dwelling place for God by^[a] the Spirit.

⁴ As you come to him, a living stone ^(A)rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, ^5 (B)you yourselves like living stones are being built up as ^(C)a spiritual house, to be ^(D)a holy priesthood, ^(E)to offer spiritual sacrifices ^(F)acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

^16 (A)Do you not know that you^[a] are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?

¹⁶ So ^(A)we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. ^(B)God is love, and ^(C)whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.

^21 (A)that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that ^(B)they also may be in ^(C)us, so that the world ^(D)may believe that you have sent me. ^22 (E)The glory that you have given me ^(F)I have given to them, ^(G)that they may be one even as we are one, ^23 (H)I in them and you in me, ^(I)that they may become perfectly one, ^(J)so that the world may know that you sent me and ^(K)loved them even as ^(L)you loved me.

^13 (A)By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.

¹⁶ What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For ^(A)we are the temple of the living God; as God said,

⁹ You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact ^(A)the Spirit of God dwells in you. ^(B)Anyone who does not have ^(C)the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. ¹⁰ But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. ¹¹ If the Spirit of ^(D)him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus^[a] from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies ^(E)through his Spirit who dwells in you.

¹⁷ even ^(A)the Spirit of truth, ^(B)whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and ^(C)will be^[a] in you.

¹⁸ “I will not leave you as orphans; ^(D)I will come to you. ^19 (E)Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but ^(F)you will see me. ^(G)Because I live, you also will live. ^20 (H)In that day you will know that ^(I)I am in my Father, and ^(J)you in me, and ^(K)I in you. ^21 (L)Whoever has my commandments and ^(M)keeps them, he it is who loves me. And ^(N)he who loves me ^(O)will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and ^(P)manifest myself to him.” ^22 (Q)Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, how is it ^(R)that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?” ²³ Jesus answered him, ^(S)“If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and ^(T)we will come to him and ^(U)make our home with him.
