^20 (A)built on the foundation of the ^(B)apostles and prophets, ^(C)Christ Jesus himself being ^(D)the cornerstone,

¹⁸ I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: ^(A)if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, ¹⁹ and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in ^(B)the tree of life and in ^(C)the holy city, which are described in this book.

^20 (A)To the teaching and to the testimony! If they will not speak according to this word, it is because they have no ^(B)dawn.

²⁹ But Abraham said, ‘They have ^(A)Moses and the Prophets; ^(B)let them hear them.’

³¹ He said to him, ‘If they do not hear ^(A)Moses and the Prophets, ^(B)neither will they be convinced if someone should rise from the dead.’”

⁸ But even if we or ^(A)an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, ^(B)let him be accursed. ⁹ As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, ^(C)let him be accursed.

¹⁵ and how ^(A)from childhood you have been acquainted with ^(B)the sacred writings, ^(C)which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. ^16 (D)All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
