^3 (A)Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who ^(B)according to His abundant mercy ^(C)has begotten us again to a living hope ^(D)through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

Comfort in Suffering

^3 (A)Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,

⁶ and raised us up together, and made us sit together ^(A)in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

⁹ And ^(A)they sang a new song, saying:

¹¹ Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, ¹² saying with a loud voice:

¹³ And ^(G)every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying:

¹⁴ Then the four living creatures said, “Amen!” And the ^[e]twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped ^[f]Him who lives forever and ever.

^18 (A)In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, ^(B)because you have obeyed My voice.”

^29 (A)My Father, ^(B)who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. ^30 (C)I and My Father are one.”

²⁰ which He worked in Christ when ^(A)He raised Him from the dead and ^(B)seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,

¹² For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against ^(A)principalities, against powers, against ^(B)the rulers of ^[a]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
