^18 (A)having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is ^(B)the hope to which he has called you, what are ^(C)the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,

^18 (A)to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from ^(B)the power of Satan to God, that they may receive ^(C)forgiveness of sins and ^(D)a place among those who are sanctified ^(E)by faith in me.’

⁶ For God, who said, ^(A)“Let light shine out of darkness,” ^(B)has shone in our hearts to give ^(C)the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

⁴⁵ Then ^(A)he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures,

The reason why ^(C)the world does not know us is that ^(D)it did not know him. ² Beloved, we are ^(E)God's children ^(F)now, and what we will be ^(G)has not yet appeared; but we know that ^(H)when he appears^{[a] (I)}we shall be like him, because ^(J)we shall see him as he is. ³ And everyone who ^(K)thus hopes in him ^(L)purifies himself as he is pure.

^7 (A)In him we have ^(B)redemption ^(C)through his blood, ^(D)the forgiveness of our trespasses, ^(E)according to the riches of his grace,

⁸ for ^(A)at one time you were ^(B)darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. ^(C)Walk as children of light

¹⁶ that according to ^(A)the riches of his glory ^(B)he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit ^(C)in your inner being,

⁴ There is ^(A)one body and ^(B)one Spirit—just as you were called to the one ^(C)hope that belongs to your call—
