^32 (A)Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, ^(B)forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

^12 (A)Put on then, as ^(B)God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, ^(C)compassionate hearts, ^(D)kindness, ^(E)humility, meekness, and patience, ^13 (F)bearing with one another and, ^(G)if one has a complaint against another, ^(H)forgiving each other; ^(I)as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.

Suffering for Righteousness' Sake

⁸ Finally, all of you, ^(A)have unity of mind, sympathy, ^(B)brotherly love, ^(C)a tender heart, and ^(D)a humble mind. ^9 (E)Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, ^(F)bless, for ^(G)to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing.

^14 (A)For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, ^15 (B)but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

²⁵ And whenever ^(A)you stand praying, ^(B)forgive, ^(C)if you have anything against anyone, so that ^(D)your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”^[a]
