Ephesians 2:4-9

4 But God, being (A)rich in mercy, because of (B)His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were (C)dead [a]in our wrongdoings, made us alive together [b]with Christ ((D)by grace you have been saved), 6 and (E)raised us up with Him, and (F)seated us with Him in (G)the heavenly places in (H)Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the ages to come He might show the [c]boundless (I)riches of His grace in (J)kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For (K)by grace you have been saved (L)through faith; and [d]this is not of yourselves, it is (M)the gift of God; 9 (N)not a result of works, so that (O)no one may boast.

4 But because of his great love for us,(A) God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions(B)—it is by grace you have been saved.(C) 6 And God raised us up with Christ(D) and seated us with him(E) in the heavenly realms(F) in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace,(G) expressed in his kindness(H) to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace(I) you have been saved,(J) through faith(K)—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works,(L) so that no one can boast.(M)
