Orin Mose àti Miriamu
15 (A)Nígbà náà ni Mose àti àwọn ọmọ Israẹli kọ orin yìí sí Olúwa:
Èmi yóò kọrin sí Olúwa,
nítorí òun pọ̀ ní ògo.
Ẹṣin àti ẹni tí ó gùn ún
ni ó ti sọ sínú Òkun.
2 (B)Olúwa ni agbára àti orin mi;
òun ti di Olùgbàlà mi,
òun ni Ọlọ́run mi, èmi ó yìn ín,
Ọlọ́run baba mi, èmi ó gbé e ga.
3 Ológun ni Olúwa,
Olúwa ni orúkọ rẹ,
4 Kẹ̀kẹ́ ogun Farao àti ogun rẹ̀
ni ó mú wọ inú Òkun.
Àwọn ọmọ-ogun Farao tó jáfáfá jùlọ
ni ó rì sínú Òkun pupa.
5 Ibú omi bò wọ́n mọ́lẹ̀;
wọ́n sì rì sí ìsàlẹ̀ omi Òkun bí òkúta.
6 “Ọwọ́ ọ̀tún rẹ, Olúwa,
pọ̀ ní agbára.
Ọwọ́ ọ̀tún rẹ, Olúwa,
fọ́ àwọn ọ̀tá túútúú.
7 “Nínú agbára ńlá rẹ ti ó tóbi
ìwọ bi àwọn ti ó dìde sí ọ ṣubú.
Ìwọ rán ìbínú gbígbóná rẹ;
Tí ó run wọ́n bí àgémọ́lẹ̀ ìdí koríko
8 Pẹ̀lú èémí imú rẹ ni
omi fi ń wọ́jọ pọ̀.
Ìṣàn omi dìde dúró bí odi;
ibú omi sì dìpọ̀ láàrín Òkun.
9 Ọ̀tá ń gbéraga, ó ń wí pé:
‘Èmi ó lépa wọn, èmi ó bá wọn.
Èmi ó pín ìkógun;
Èmi ó tẹ́ ìfẹ́kúfẹ̀ẹ́ mi lọ́run lára wọn.
Èmi yóò fa idà mi yọ,
ọwọ́ mi yóò pa wọ́n run.’
10 Ìwọ fẹ́ èémí rẹ,
òkun ru bò wọ́n mọ́lẹ̀.
Wọ́n rì bí òjé
ni àárín omi ńlá.
11 Ta ni nínú àwọn òrìṣà
tó dàbí rẹ, Olúwa?
Ta ló dàbí rẹ:
ní títóbi,
ní mímọ́ Ẹlẹ́rù ni yìn,
tí ń ṣe ohun ìyanu?
12 “Ìwọ na apá ọ̀tún rẹ,
Ilẹ̀ si gbé wọn mì.
13 Nínú ìfẹ́ rẹ ti kì í sákí Ìwọ ṣe amọ̀nà
àwọn ènìyàn náà tí Ìwọ ti rà padà.
Nínú agbára rẹ Ìwọ yóò tọ́ wọn,
lọ sí ibi ìjókòó rẹ mímọ́.
14 Orílẹ̀-èdè yóò gbọ́ wọn yóò wárìrì
Ìkáàánú yóò mi àwọn ènìyàn Filistia.
15 Ìbẹ̀rù yóò mú àwọn ìjòyè Edomu,
Àwọn olórí Moabu yóò wárìrì
Àwọn ènìyàn Kenaani yóò sì yọ́ dànù;
16 Ìbẹ̀rù bojo yóò ṣubú lù wọ́n nítorí
nína títóbi apá rẹ̀
wọn yóò dúró jẹ́ẹ́ láì mira bí i òkúta
Títí àwọn ènìyàn rẹ yóò fi rékọjá, Olúwa,
Títí tí àwọn ènìyàn tí o ti rà yóò fi rékọjá.
17 Ìwọ yóò mú wọn wá láti gbìn wọ́n
ni orí òkè ti ìwọ jogún;
Ní ibi ti ìwọ ṣe fún ara rẹ, Olúwa.
Láti máa gbé ibi mímọ́ ti ìwọ fi ọwọ́ rẹ gbé kalẹ̀, Olúwa.
18 “Olúwa yóò jẹ ọba
láé àti láéláé.”
19 Nígbà ti ẹṣin Farao, kẹ̀kẹ́ ogun àti àwọn ẹlẹ́ṣin rẹ̀ wọ inú Òkun, Olúwa mú kí omi Òkun padà bò wọ́n mọ́lẹ̀, ṣùgbọ́n àwọn ọmọ Israẹli rìn lórí ìyàngbẹ ilẹ̀ la Òkun kọjá. 20 Miriamu wòlíì obìnrin, arábìnrin Aaroni, mú ohun èlò orin ni ọwọ́ rẹ̀, gbogbo àwọn obìnrin sì jáde tẹ̀lé e pẹ̀lú ìlù òun ijó. 21 Miriamu kọrin sí wọn báyìí pé:
“Ẹ kọrin sí Olúwa
Nítorí òun ni ológo jùlọ
Ẹṣin àti ẹni tí ó gùn ún
Ni òun bi ṣubú sínú Òkun.”

22 Nígbà náà ni Mose ṣe amọ̀nà àwọn ènìyàn Israẹli jáde láti Òkun pupa lọ sínú ijù Ṣuri. Wọ́n lọ ní ìrìn ọjọ́ mẹ́ta sínú ijù náà, wọn kò sì rí omi. 23 Nígbà tí wọ́n dé Mara, wọn kò lè mu omi Mara nítorí omi náà korò (Nítorí náà ni a ṣe pe ibẹ̀ ni Mara: ibi ìkorò). 24 Àwọn ènìyàn ń kùn sí Mose wí pé, “Kí ni àwa yóò mu?”
25 Mose sì ké pe Olúwa, Olúwa sì fi igi kan hàn án, ó sì sọ igi náà sínú omi, omi náà sì dùn.
Níbẹ̀ ni Olúwa ti gbé ìlànà àti òfin kalẹ̀ fún wọn, níbẹ̀ ni ó sì ti dán wọn wò. 26 Ó wí pé, “Bí ìwọ bá fetísílẹ̀ dáradára sí òfin Olúwa Ọlọ́run, ti ìwọ sì ṣe ohun tí ó tọ́ ni ojú rẹ̀, ti ìwọ sì tẹ̀lé ohun tí ó pàṣẹ, ti ìwọ si pa ìlànà rẹ̀ mọ́. Èmi kì yóò jẹ́ kí èyíkéyìí nínú àwọn ààrùn wọ̀n-ọn-nì ti mo mú wá sórí àwọn ará Ejibiti wá sí ara rẹ, nítorí èmi ni Olúwa ti ó mú ọ láradá.”
27 Nígbà ti wọ́n dé Elimu, níbi ti kànga omi méjìlá (12) àti àádọ́rin (70) ọ̀pẹ gbé wà, wọ́n pàgọ́ síbẹ̀ ni etí omi.

The Song of Moses and Miriam
15 Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song(A) to the Lord:
“I will sing(B) to the Lord,
for he is highly exalted.
Both horse and driver(C)
he has hurled into the sea.(D)
2 “The Lord is my strength(E) and my defense[a];
he has become my salvation.(F)
He is my God,(G) and I will praise him,
my father’s God, and I will exalt(H) him.
3 The Lord is a warrior;(I)
the Lord is his name.(J)
4 Pharaoh’s chariots and his army(K)
he has hurled into the sea.
The best of Pharaoh’s officers
are drowned in the Red Sea.[b]
5 The deep waters(L) have covered them;
they sank to the depths like a stone.(M)
6 Your right hand,(N) Lord,
was majestic in power.
Your right hand,(O) Lord,
shattered(P) the enemy.
7 “In the greatness of your majesty(Q)
you threw down those who opposed you.
You unleashed your burning anger;(R)
it consumed(S) them like stubble.
8 By the blast of your nostrils(T)
the waters piled up.(U)
The surging waters stood up like a wall;(V)
the deep waters congealed in the heart of the sea.(W)
9 The enemy boasted,
‘I will pursue,(X) I will overtake them.
I will divide the spoils;(Y)
I will gorge myself on them.
I will draw my sword
and my hand will destroy them.’
10 But you blew with your breath,(Z)
and the sea covered them.
They sank like lead
in the mighty waters.(AA)
11 Who among the gods
is like you,(AB) Lord?
Who is like you—
majestic in holiness,(AC)
awesome in glory,(AD)
working wonders?(AE)
12 “You stretch out(AF) your right hand,
and the earth swallows your enemies.(AG)
13 In your unfailing love you will lead(AH)
the people you have redeemed.(AI)
In your strength you will guide them
to your holy dwelling.(AJ)
14 The nations will hear and tremble;(AK)
anguish(AL) will grip the people of Philistia.(AM)
15 The chiefs(AN) of Edom(AO) will be terrified,
the leaders of Moab will be seized with trembling,(AP)
the people[c] of Canaan will melt(AQ) away;
16 terror(AR) and dread will fall on them.
By the power of your arm
they will be as still as a stone(AS)—
until your people pass by, Lord,
until the people you bought[d](AT) pass by.(AU)
17 You will bring(AV) them in and plant(AW) them
on the mountain(AX) of your inheritance—
the place, Lord, you made for your dwelling,(AY)
the sanctuary,(AZ) Lord, your hands established.
18 “The Lord reigns
for ever and ever.”(BA)
19 When Pharaoh’s horses, chariots and horsemen[e] went into the sea,(BB) the Lord brought the waters of the sea back over them, but the Israelites walked through the sea on dry ground.(BC) 20 Then Miriam(BD) the prophet,(BE) Aaron’s sister, took a timbrel in her hand, and all the women followed her, with timbrels(BF) and dancing.(BG) 21 Miriam sang(BH) to them:
“Sing to the Lord,
for he is highly exalted.
Both horse and driver(BI)
he has hurled into the sea.”(BJ)
The Waters of Marah and Elim
22 Then Moses led Israel from the Red Sea and they went into the Desert(BK) of Shur.(BL) For three days they traveled in the desert without finding water.(BM) 23 When they came to Marah, they could not drink its water because it was bitter. (That is why the place is called Marah.[f](BN)) 24 So the people grumbled(BO) against Moses, saying, “What are we to drink?”(BP)
25 Then Moses cried out(BQ) to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a piece of wood. He threw(BR) it into the water, and the water became fit to drink.
There the Lord issued a ruling and instruction for them and put them to the test.(BS) 26 He said, “If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep(BT) all his decrees,(BU) I will not bring on you any of the diseases(BV) I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals(BW) you.”
27 Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve springs and seventy palm trees, and they camped(BX) there near the water.
