Ang Biblia (1978)
Ang pagkakaawang gawa at ang kasipagan ay dapat gawin na may pagasa.
11 Ihasik mo ang (A)iyong tinapay sa tubigan: sapagka't iyong masusumpungan pagkaraan ng maraming araw.
2 (B)Magbigay ka ng bahagi sa pito, oo, sa walo; (C)sapagka't hindi mo nalalaman kung anong kasamaan ang mangyayari sa lupa.
3 Kung ang mga alapaap ay mapuno ng ulan, ay tumutulo sa lupa: at kung ang punong kahoy ay mabuwal sa dakong timugan, o sa dakong hilagaan sa dakong kabuwalan ng kahoy, ay doon ito mamamalagi.
4 Ang nagmamalas sa hangin ay hindi maghahasik; at ang tumitingin sa mga alapaap ay hindi aani.
5 Kung paanong hindi (D)mo nalalaman kung ano ang daan ng hangin o (E)kung paano mang lumalaki ang mga buto sa bahay-bata ng buntis; gayon hindi mo nalalaman ang gawa ng Dios na gumagawa sa lahat.
6 Ihasik mo sa umaga ang iyong binhi, at huwag mong iurong ang iyong kamay sa hapon; sapagka't hindi mo nalalaman kung alin ang tutubo, kung ito o yaon, o kung kapuwa magiging mabuti.
7 Tunay na ang liwanag ay mainam, at masayang bagay sa mga mata na magsitingin sa araw.
8 Oo, kung ang tao ay mabuhay ng maraming taon, magalak siya sa lahat ng yaon; nguni't alalahanin niya (F)ang mga kaarawan ng kadiliman, sapagka't magiging marami. Lahat ng dumarating ay walang kabuluhan.
9 Ikaw ay magalak, Oh binata, sa iyong kabataan: at pasayahin ka ng iyong puso sa mga kaarawan ng iyong kabataan, at (G)lumakad ka ng mga lakad ng iyong kalooban, at sa paningin ng iyong mga mata: (H)nguni't talastasin mo na dahil sa lahat ng mga bagay na ito ay dadalhin (I)ka ng Dios sa kahatulan.
10 Kaya't ilayo mo ang kapanglawan sa iyong puso, at (J)alisin mo ang kasamaan sa iyong katawan: sapagka't ang kabataan at ang kasariwaan ng buhay ay walang kabuluhan.

Conselhos práticos
11 Empregue o seu dinheiro em bons negócios e com o tempo você terá o seu lucro. 2 Aplique-o em vários lugares e em negócios diferentes porque você não sabe que crise poderá acontecer no mundo.
3 Quando as nuvens ficam cheias, a chuva cai. Uma árvore pode cair em qualquer direção, mas, no lugar em que cair, aí ficará. 4 Quem fica esperando que o vento mude e que o tempo fique bom nunca plantará, nem colherá nada. 5 Deus faz todas as coisas. E, como você não pode entender como começa uma nova vida dentro da barriga de uma mulher, assim também não pode entender as coisas que Deus faz. 6 Semeie de manhã e também de tarde porque você não sabe se todas as sementes crescerão bem, nem se uma crescerá melhor do que a outra.
7 Como é agradável a luz do dia, e como é bom ver o sol! 8 Viva alegre durante todos os anos da sua vida. Mas, mesmo que você viva muitos anos, lembre que ficará morto durante muito mais tempo. Tudo o que acontece é ilusão.
Conselhos para os jovens
9 Jovem, aproveite a sua mocidade e seja feliz enquanto é moço. Faça tudo o que quiser e siga os desejos do seu coração. Mas lembre de uma coisa: Deus o julgará por tudo o que você fizer. 10 Não deixe que nada o preocupe ou faça sofrer, pois a mocidade dura pouco.

Invest in Many Ventures
11 Ship(A) your grain across the sea;
after many days you may receive a return.(B)
2 Invest in seven ventures, yes, in eight;
you do not know what disaster may come upon the land.
3 If clouds are full of water,
they pour rain on the earth.
Whether a tree falls to the south or to the north,
in the place where it falls, there it will lie.
4 Whoever watches the wind will not plant;
whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.
5 As you do not know the path of the wind,(C)
or how the body is formed[a] in a mother’s womb,(D)
so you cannot understand the work of God,
the Maker of all things.
6 Sow your seed in the morning,
and at evening let your hands not be idle,(E)
for you do not know which will succeed,
whether this or that,
or whether both will do equally well.
Remember Your Creator While Young
7 Light is sweet,
and it pleases the eyes to see the sun.(F)
8 However many years anyone may live,
let them enjoy them all.
But let them remember(G) the days of darkness,
for there will be many.
Everything to come is meaningless.
9 You who are young, be happy while you are young,
and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth.
Follow the ways of your heart
and whatever your eyes see,
but know that for all these things
God will bring you into judgment.(H)
10 So then, banish anxiety(I) from your heart
and cast off the troubles of your body,
for youth and vigor are meaningless.(J)
