Ecclesiastes 8:6-8
New Revised Standard Version, Anglicised
6 For every matter has its time and way, although the troubles of mortals lie heavy upon them. 7 Indeed, they do not know what is to be, for who can tell them how it will be? 8 No one has power over the wind[a] to restrain the wind,[b] or power over the day of death; there is no discharge from the battle, nor does wickedness deliver those who practise it.

Ecclesiastes 8:6-8
New International Version
6 For there is a proper time and procedure for every matter,(A)
though a person may be weighed down by misery.
7 Since no one knows the future,
who can tell someone else what is to come?
8 As no one has power over the wind to contain it,
so[a] no one has power over the time of their death.
As no one is discharged in time of war,
so wickedness will not release those who practice it.
