⁶Better one handful with tranquillity
than two handfuls with toil^(A)
and chasing after the wind.

⁶Better is an handful with quietness, than both the hands full with travail and vexation of spirit.

¹⁵Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”^(A)

¹⁵And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

⁶But godliness with contentment^(A) is great gain.^(B) ⁷For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.^(C)
