¹⁷ I said to myself, “God will judge the righteous and the wicked,^(A) since there is a time for every activity and every work.”^(B)

¹² I also saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened.^(A) Another book was opened, which is the book of life,^(B) and the dead were judged according to their works^(C) by what was written in the books.
