⁹ What ^(A)gain has the worker from his toil?

¹⁶ This also is a grievous evil: just as he came, so shall he go, and what ^(A)gain is there to him who ^(B)toils for the wind?

²⁶ For ^(A)what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or ^(B)what shall a man give in return for his soul?

²² What has a man from ^(A)all the toil and striving of heart with which he toils beneath the sun? ²³ For ^(B)all his days are full of sorrow, and his ^(C)work is a vexation. Even in the night his heart does not rest. This also is vanity.

¹¹ Then I considered all that my hands had done and the toil I had expended in doing it, and behold, all was ^(A)vanity and a striving after wind, and there was nothing ^(B)to be gained under the sun.
