¹⁷ I said in my heart,

^10 (A)For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, ^(B)that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

Everything Has Its Time

²⁷ For ^(A)the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father ^(B)with His angels, ^(C)and then He will reward each according to his works.

^6 (A)since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with ^[a]tribulation those who trouble you, ⁷ and to give you who are troubled ^(B)rest with us when ^(C)the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, ⁸ in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. ^9 (D)These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and ^(E)from the glory of His power, ¹⁰ when He comes, in that Day, ^(F)to be ^(G)glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who ^[b]believe, because our testimony among you was believed.

The Great White Throne Judgment

¹¹ Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face ^(A)the earth and the heaven fled away. ^(B)And there was found no place for them. ¹² And I saw the dead, ^(C)small and great, standing before ^[a]God, ^(D)and books were opened. And another ^(E)book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged ^(F)according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. ¹³ The sea gave up the dead who were in it, ^(G)and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. ^(H)And they were judged, each one according to his works. ¹⁴ Then ^(I)Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. ^(J)This is the second ^[b]death. ¹⁵ And anyone not found written in the Book of Life ^(K)was cast into the lake of fire.
