^7 (A)All the rivers run into the sea,
Yet the sea is not full;
To the place from which the rivers come,
There they return again.

¹⁰ When ^(A)I fixed My limit for it,
And set bars and doors;
¹¹ When I said,
‘This far you may come, but no farther,
And here your proud waves ^(B)must stop!’

⁶ You ^(A)covered it with the deep as with a garment;
The waters stood above the mountains.
⁷ At Your rebuke they fled;
At the voice of Your thunder they hastened away.
^8 [a]They went up over the mountains;
They went down into the valleys,
To the place which You founded for them.
⁹ You have ^(B)set a boundary that they may not pass over,
^(C)That they may not return to cover the earth.
