⁵ The sun rises, and the sun goes down
    and hurries to the place where it rises.^(A)

¹¹ the moon stood still in its exalted place,
    at the light of your arrows speeding by,
    at the gleam of your flashing spear.^(A)

⁴ yet their voice^[a] goes out through all the earth
    and their words to the end of the world.

¹⁹ You have made the moon to mark the seasons;
    the sun knows its time for setting.^(A)
20 You make darkness, and it is night,
    when all the animals of the forest come creeping out.^(B)
21 The young lions roar for their prey,
    seeking their food from God.^(C)
22 When the sun rises, they withdraw
    and lie down in their dens.
²³ People go out to their work
    and to their labor until the evening.^(D)

³⁶ His line shall continue forever,
    and his throne endure before me like the sun.^(A)
37 It shall be established forever like the moon,
