16 He gave you manna(A) to eat in the wilderness, something your ancestors had never known,(B) to humble and test(C) you so that in the end it might go well with you. 17 You may say to yourself,(D) “My power and the strength of my hands(E) have produced this wealth for me.” 18 But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth,(F) and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.

31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.(A) 33 But seek first his kingdom(B) and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.(C) 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.
